Hill yoga is run at Trasierra, a refuge from the modern world. It is a well-established yoga & hill- walking retreat like no other. Set in 30,000 acres of natural park, the land is of unparalleled beauty.

Amber teaches her own method of core based alignment yoga in a light and airy studio twice daily. The practice makes the best of the deep stillness of the surroundings to expand and develop rapidly and safely. This year Amber is joined by Xochi Balfour, who will be strengthening our connection with nature and ourselves through fascinating workshops.

You will be fed delicious food, well exercised and well looked after mind, body and soul.

Amber’s classes flow beautifully, giving you time to explore the postures intelligently. She is a truly mindful teacher and throughout the sessions will adjust and instruct in a way that transforms and elevates.

650m above sea level, the air is uncontaminated but for the heady essences of wild flowers and mountain herbs. Olive, eucalyptus and oak trees scatter the broad horizons and the walks are inspiring to the very soul.

This 15th century house has been beautifully restored and the rooms are light, spacious and inviting. Expect fresh flowers, plump cushions and a nourishing sense of being at home.

Xochi fuses holistic nutrition, natural healing and spiritual inquiry to guide individuals in cultivating more balance and harmony within and without. She encourages you to tap into your intuition, remember forgotten knowledge and nurture a better way of living.

Food is a very important part of the retreat. We focus on detoxifying vegetarian cooking without missing out on the delights of the palate. Expect nourishing salads, Spanish stews, freshly grilled fish, delicious soups and an array of satisfying fare.

Amber has been practicing Ancient ‘Thai’ massage for over a decade. The body is stretched and massaged in a way that releases energy blockages and restores the nervous system.
